WHEELS 4 WISHES

On May 5, the Scalar team took part in a very special event; Wheels 4 Wishes, in support of Make-A-Wish Canada. The fundraiser took place at Mosport from 9am to 3pm where members of the automotive community came together to provide a unique opportunity for wish children to experience the thrill of riding around a world-famous track!

The Scalar team attended the fundraiser event with the SCR1 and Gas GRrrr, and drove for a cause.

Help us help this beautiful cause by donating to the Make-A-Wish foundation through the link below! Every donation counts.

EV 101: UNDERSTANDING EV ENGINEERING

RACE WEEKENDS

DriveTeq Lapping Day at Mosport DDT

Race season has officially begun! The Scalar team, featuring a lineup of skilled drivers, is proud to be competing in the 2024 LDRC season! Scalar Team #86 and Scalar team #350 will be behind the wheel of Scalar Performance’s Gas GRrrr and the returning addition to our roster, the classic Scalar Performance’s Nissan 350Z, known as “Fairlady”.

The team spent a very cold day at Mosport DDT on April 21 for DriveTeq's lapping day in order to allow all drivers to get comfortable in both cars!

LDRC Endurance Racing

The Scalar team kicked off the Lucky Dog Racing Canada season with a race weekend full of valuable lessons!

Saturday, April 27, race day one, started great; we had cars in 1st and 2nd place, however due to weather conditions, GasGRrrr survived a couple minor crashes, while the Fairlady had contact with the wall on both Saturday and Sunday morning. Sunday, race day two, both cars started the race, despite all the damage from Saturday. The Fairlady was able to continue to the end of the race, while Gas GRrrr finished the race, placing 5th in class!

Despite these challenges, the team is eager to hit the track again, refine their skills, and push their car builds; Gas GRrrr and the Fairlady, to the limit of endurance throughout the season.

Endurance racing tests our vehicles under extreme conditions, allowing us to enhance their performance, durability, and safety. This challenging environment provides valuable insights that go beyond standard testing, helping us refine our builds to meet rigorous demands.

Keep an eye on our social media for more updates from upcoming race weekends!

SCR1 SHOWCASED AT DISCOVERY X

On April 17-18, Scalar Performance was proud to exhibit in the Explore NeXt Zone, alongside the SCR1 all-electric amateur touring race car. We were honoured to be recognized as one of the four most innovative companies by the Ontario Centre of Innovation! The SCR1 served as a showcase of our expertise, embodying our commitment to creating efficiency in innovative ways all while achieving safety, durability, and performance.
