ALL-ELECTRIC SCR1 TO MAKE RACING DEBUT AT HYPERFEST (VA) THIS WEEKEND
After months of research and development on the SCR1, the world’s first all-electric amateur touring race car, the Scalar Performance Team is ready to participate in its first National Auto Sport Association (NASA) sanctioned race, during HyperFest’s 3-day weekend hosted at Virginia International Raceway from Friday May 19th through Sunday May 21st.

THE SCALAR SCR1, THE FIRST ALL-ELECTRIC AMATEUR TOURING RACE CAR, INTRODUCED TODAY AT SEMA
Las Vegas, November 1st, 2022 – Scalar Performance, unveiled today the first all-electric amateur touring race car, the SCR1 at SEMA, the premier automotive specialty trade show.
Designed and built by tech entrepreneur, Brian Bourne, and car builder, Joel Fallaise, in collaboration with engineering partners Hypercraft and Ettractive, the SCR1 is the first club racing electric vehicle approved by the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) for road racing in their Super Touring Series.
THE FIRST ALL-ELECTRIC CLUB SPORT AMATEUR RACE CAR TO BE UNVEILED AT SEMA 2022
In anticipation of SEMA 2022, the premier automotive specialty trade show in the world, Scalar Performance in cooperation with Hypercraft and Ettractive, two of North America’s leading electric vehicle (EV) systems developers, are announcing the reveal of the first bespoke all-electric club sport amateur race car.
