THE SCR1 INTRODUCED TO THE WORLD AT SEMA

The SCR1 unveiling at SEMA, the World’s premier automotive specialty trade show, with its 130,000+ attendees and 3,000+ media, definitely attracted a great deal of attention on the SCR1 and Scalar Performance.

From November 1st to 4th 2022, the Scalar Performance Team met with hundreds of car enthusiasts and journalists curious to learn more about this new intriguing all-electric touring race car. The GR86 fans were amongst the most interested about the SCR1 since there is no electric version of the GR86 on the market.

Overall, the SEMA Show was a huge success for Scalar Performance and the unveiling of its SCR1. The SCR1 received massive global media coverage from all around the World, as well as receving a lot of interest from the attendees at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

THE SCR1 WINS AN INNOVATION AWARD 

During the SEMA Show, Scalar Performance was honored to receive the Wiha 2022 Innovation Award for the most outstanding innovation improving the future.

THE RACING WORLD MET THE SCR1 AT PRI 2022

Following SEMA, the Scalar Performance Team headed to Indianapolis to participated in the 2022 PRI (Performance Racing Industry) Trade Show from December 8th to 10th. The SCR1 all-electric amateur touring race car was exposed to the 50,000+ racing industry attendees during this 3-day show.
 
After being introduced to the Automotive World at SEMA, the PRI Show provided Scalar Performance with the opportunity to introduce the SCR1 to the niche racing industry, as well as meeting with racing enthusiasts, suppliers and potential buyers.

VISIT AT RCLUB IN TORONTO

In January, just before heading to Atlanta, Georgia, the SCR1 made an appearance at RClub in Toronto. The numerous RClub Members present for this special event had the privilege to see the SCR1 up-close, take pictures and video as well as discuss with one of the co-founders of Scalar Performance, Brian Bourne.

AFTER VEGAS AND INDIANAPOLIS, ATLANTA (GA)

Since the beginning of 2023, the Scalar Performance Team has been working on the SCR1 prototype at its Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP) location. A new battery pack and electric powertrain from Hypercraft was installed in preparation for the SCR1 first track tests on the Atlanta Motorsports Park Circuit.

The team at Scalar Performance is very excited to watch the SCR1 hit the track at AMP. These track tests will provide very important data for the development of the SRC1, the first amateur touring all-electric race car.
