SCR1 FEATURED ON DAVE KINDIG'S BITCHIN' RIDES

During the build of the all-electric Kindig CF1, Dave Kindig and Kevin Schiele from Kindig-It Design stopped by the Hypercraft headquarters in Provo, Utah. During this visit, while filming an episode for their series Bitchin' Rides, they got to drive and turn tires to smoke with the SCR1, and had nothing but awesome things to say about it! The Scalar Performance team felt genuinely honored as the October 17 episode of season 10, titled "A Whole New Game," showcased the SCR1.

GRIDLIFE AT LAGUNA SECA

Scalar Performance at Laguna Seca with the SCR1 all-electric touring race car for Gridlife

During the October 21 weekend, the Scalar Performance crew took the SCR1 to Laguna Seca for Gridlife. This event marked Laguna Seca's debut hosting Gridlife, and it turned out to be a triumph throughout the entire weekend. The focus was on preparing the car specifically for the track, gathering valuable data for testing and further advancements, all while forging important connections within the industry.

The team successfully gathered chassis setup data, resulting in the SCR1 being elevated to class A due to its impressive speed, which some referred to as "stupid fast," according to Joel. Despite not being in direct competition, the SCR1 performed exceptionally well and provided the team with a thrilling track experience. A notable highlight was people mistaking the SCR1 for a supercharger during its track appearances, leading to priceless reactions when they discovered it was fully electric. Overall, the weekend was nothing short of fantastic.

SCALAR PERFORMANCE AT SEMA 2023

From October 31 to November 3, the Scalar Performance team marked their second official appearance at the renowned SEMA show, a pinnacle event in the automotive world. In the previous year's SEMA, the SCR1 was introduced merely as a concept. However, this year, the team proudly drove the car in, showcasing its proven track performance and impressive statistics.

This edition of the SEMA show was a rich experience filled with knowledge-sharing, networking with industry experts, and valuable insights. Brian and Joel were honored to take the spotlight at the FutureTech Studio during SEMA education sessions, discussing the Challenges and Advancements in Electrified Racing with host Selika Talbott.

Witnessing the substantial evolution within the EV realm compared to the previous year was equally exhilarating for the team. They eagerly anticipate the upcoming developments in this dynamic space!
