FIRST PODIUM FINISH AT SHANNONVILLE MOTORSPORT PARK

On the weekend of July 29, the team at Scalar Performance achieved their first-ever podium finish in the 'Gas GRrrr' at Shannonville Motorsport Park for Lucky Dog Racing Canada! Through dedicated practice, the team perfected their pit stop skills and driving strategies, resulting in a fantastic achievement of finishing P1 in their class and P3 overall. The team was feeling extra proud because, despite the challenging weather conditions, and a very wet track on the Saturday, all drivers demonstrated amazing skills and were able to bring it home!

STATE OF CHARGE ‘23 CONFERENCE IN GOLDEN, COLORADO

On Thursday, August 3rd, the Scalar team headed towards Golden, Colorado, where they would attend an EV conference hosted by Ohm On The Range. The conference took place over the course of August 4 and 5, in which presentations, such as EV swapping experiences, and EV safety, took place. The conference was an amazing opportunity for learning and networking. The weekend was summed up with a public car meet called "La Vida Volta," held at the Golden High School, where the public was able to check out all the cool builds and EV swaps. Scalar Performance attended the conference and the car meet with the SCR1 all-electric touring race car, and the feedback was incredible.

VISITING THE HYPERCRAFT HEADQUARTERS IN PROVO, UTAH

Right after the State of Charge '23 conference, the team wasted no time, and made their way to the Hypercraft headquarters in Provo, Utah, where very exciting news would be announced to the public...

Both teams would announce that for the next couple of months, they would be working closely together on the SCR1 all-electric touring race car, as well as new projects that will be coming very soon! Scalar Performance is expected to be in and out of Utah for the remainder of the year, as they work on exciting new ventures.

TOYOTA TUNDRA EV SWAP PROJECT

We'll give you a sneak peek on one of the exciting projects the Scalar Performance team is working on right now... Yes, you read that right... The team is currently putting their research and knowledge to the test by EV swapping a 2004 Toyota Tundra. After a full year of development with the all-electric SCR1, converting this Toyota will allow the team to experiment with different methods and materials, later applying these practices to the SCR1, as well as new projects coming soon!
